These sessions will study theory from the Masters of Impressionism, to inspire expressionism in your future brushwork and colour explorations. Each class will feature history and a mini study to explore what influenced the Impressionists artists, their work and how painting since has been profoundly affected by it. Demonstrations will primarily be in acrylic, with variations for soft pastel. Watercolour and oil painters are welcome. These classes will focus on colour theory, technique and stylization. Previous experience in your chosen medium is essential. Maximum 12 students.
