Winter Landscapes
Sunday October 6, 10-4pm
Be inspired by the history, adventures and artworks of A.Y Jackson and Tom Thomson, members of Canada’s beloved Group of Seven. These two friends, rebels and storytellers, shared a passion for capturing the essence of Northern Ontario lakes, sunsets, and colourful winter scenery inspires to this day. This Master class will study composition, colour and technique with lively discussions, and modern insights.
“At first, in my painting, I was interested in the old farm houses, in the barns and the trees. Later it was snow that captured my attention; the sun and the wind continually changed its colours and texture”.- Jackson.
